Water Supply 25 Die Cast Model

This 1976 Kenworth/Pierce Open Cab Water Supply 25 Pumper went into service in 1976 and was identified as Engine 252, a front line pumper. In 1985, it was re-identified as Water Supply 25. It is dispatched on all multiple alarm fires and any non-hydranted areas in Prince George’s County Maryland. The unique paint scheme found on this unit first appeared on their apparatus in 1955 and is still used on all Clinton Volunteer Fire Department apparatus. This truck carries two nicknames, “The Whisper Jet” and the “KW”, and is the only one of its kind built in the world.

After giving over 30 year of service, this piece of apparatus is scheduled to be retired from service in early 2007. These First Gear replicas are being sold as a fundraiser for the department to help pay for a new pumper.

This truck is dedicated to the late Mr. Aubrey Schultz, Sr. who devoted nearly 50 years of service to the Clinton VFD. His leadership as Chief and later President was inspiring in all aspects of fire protection, from fund raising to apparatus design.
