By Lieutenant Justin Rucker
June 11, 2012

Around 0230 Truck 25 was alerted for a reported house fire in the 9300 block of Old Palmer Rd. Squad 47 arrived first and reported a one and a half story Cape Cod structure with smoke showing. Truck 25 arrived and was advised to take 2nd due service responsibility. The truck crew went to Division 2 to do a search and check for extension. When the crew got to the second floor they found that the house was a pack-rat house. Each room on the first floor was packed about waist deep with stuff and piled to the ceiling on the 2nd floor. After extensive overhaul the company cleared around 0630 hrs.
