Around 2230 Engine 251 and ambulance 259 were alerted for a MVC in the area of Old Alexandria Ferry and Malcolm Rd. While en route PSC advised they had received additional information that people were trapped. Engine 251 arrived to find 2 vehicles with people trapped in each. Chief 25 arrived and took command and requested a second Rescue Squad (AAFB) along with a second Medic Unit. One victim was pronounced at the scene and the second was extricated and flown to a trauma center. Engine 251 remained on the scene to assist the police with reconstruction.
