| Five members of the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department were recognized this month with the Robert H. “Bob” Walker Service Ring, an award that celebrates a twenty-five years of dedication to the department and the community.
The Service Ring was established in memory of Robert H. “Bob” Walker, who served from 1961 to 1987 as an active member, life member, president, and director. This commitment to service set a standard that continues to inspire today’s volunteers.
This year’s recipients are:
- Gerald Spence — joined in 1961 - Martin Padgett — joined in 1958 - Mark Clagg — joined in 1999 - Bernie Roussillon — joined in 1991 - Robert Van Vliet — joined in 1999
Each of these members has reached 25 years of qualified LOSAP service with the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department. Their steady dedication represents the best of what it means to serve. |
