| On July 16 Engine 251 was alerted 3rd due to 5511 Auth rd for the reported house on fire. While enroute Eagle 2 was overhead and reported that the house was on fire and it was through the roof at that time. Engine 251 arrived 2nd due and picked up Engine 291's split lay and reported to side alpha as directed with the secondary line, the engine crew went to work in the cockloft area where they encountered heavy fire conditions from the fire spreading through the house. After the fire was knocked down the Engine Company crew assisted the PGFD fire investigators and conducted overhaul of the residence. |
