We are proud to introduce you to the newest member of the CVFD fleet...Engine 253. E253 backed into the station for the first time on July 16, 2018.

We would like to send a huge THANK YOU to all the citizens of Clinton who donated to our annual fund drives! Your donations and support over the past few years made this purchase possible.

Engine 253 is expected to be placed in-service mid-August after equipment mounting and driver training are complete. Once in-service E253 will replace the 1986 Pierce Lance (Water Supply).

About E253:
-2018 Pierce Enforcer with 6 man cab
-Hale 2,000GPM 2-stage pump
-500 galloon water tank
-Detroit DD13 525HP engine
-162.5" wheelbase
-45" pump panel
-1,000' 5" hose

That is a beautiful engine! I saw it as I was headed home and it looked beautiful and proud as ever!

Your new truck is super SHARP, but not in the same level of CLASSY as the old W-900 open cab.... that is a TRUE classic.
