Water Supply Company 25 was dispatched on the 2nd alarm at 17:20. Upon arrival a water supply plan was developed by the crew and 2,400 feet of 5" supply line was laid out from an available 14" water main. Once charged the company supplied Foam 74 and Engine 816 with water for approximately 2 hours. Chief 25A, running as Battalion 887, was dispatched on the 3rd alarm and assumed the role of water supply officer. Units cleared the scene at 21:30. Special thanks goes out to Morningside Volunteer Fire Dept.Squad 27 for the help racking all 2,400 feet of 5" hose.
