The Awesome Angels are Back!

Congratulations to the Awesome Clinton Angels who won four out of five contests today at the County Convention Competitions.

Skill and Agility:
WINNER: Stef Tice, 1.10.41
Second Dottie Talbert, Co 23, 1.45.39

Running Gear
WINNER: Clinton Angels, 22.15 sec
Second: Forestville Ladies, 25.51 sec

Bucket Brigade
WINNER: Clinton Angels, 18 3/4 inches from top
Second: (Tie) Forestville Lad Aux; Branchville Lad Aux, 19 inches from top

Tug of War
WINNER: Clinton Angels, defeating Forestville Ladies in two tugs. (I don’t believe we have EVER won even a single round in the tug of war!)

Battle of the Bucket
The Angels lost to Forestville after a long, hard fought battle. Forestville Lad won the contest.

Team members were: Ginger Henderson, Stef Tice, Mary Beth Johnson, Jenn Cross, Amy Jones, Candice Kent, Christine Potter (Tug of War), Sara Russell (Tug of War), and Sally Brown. Special thanks for Jennifer Malenab for being our timekeeper this year since she couldn’t compete.

The ladies will be competing in the spaghetti, dry hose, and engine competitions next weekend.
