COMMUNITY ALERT- Fraudulent Solicitations by Telephone

The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department has been contacted by local citizens relative telephone solicitations they have received. Please be aware that our ONLY community fund raising effort is conducted by U.S. Postal Service mailings to local homes and businesses.
In the event you are contacted by telephone solicitors, copy the number shown on your caller ID, decline to contribute and contact the local authorities. If you have been contacted and provided a donation, again let the authorities know. The only way to stop this activity is through prosecution of the violators.
We apologize for the dispicable actions of these criminal individuals and thank you for your continued support.
