Around 2300 hrs Engine Company 25 was alerted for a reported house fire at 5709 San Juan Dr. in Clinton. Engine 255 responded with 4 personnel and arrived to find a 1 story single family dwelling with smoke showing. Upon making entry the crew encountered heavy smoke conditions as they advanced a 1 3/4" hand line down the hallway. Moderate fire conditions were found in a rear bedroom and an agressive extinguishing effort was initiated. The fire was quicly extinguished and a check for extension was performed. Truck Company 32 assisted in the operations with ventilation and overhaul as well as checking for extension in adjacent areas. Units cleared around 0100 hours.

Units: Engine 255, 271, 471, RE 40, Truck 32, 29, Tower 21.
