Two Crews to Upper Marlboro
by admin ~ August 16th, 2007. Filed under: Fires, News.At 1808 hrs Public Safety Communications received calls for a reported building fire in the 9500 Block of Crain Hwy. The box alarm was dispatched with crews from Upper Marlboro St 20, Clinton, Forestville, Brandywine, Morningside, Bowie and others. Engine 251 and 203 arrived on scene simultaneously both units laid out. Rescue Squad 40 arrived and established command. Units operating advised they had a haze of smoke in the building. Battalion Chief 7 arrived on scene and assumed command. Tk25 was added per command. E251’s crew used a ground ladder to reach the roof where they investigated and controlled an Air Conditioning unit. Units cleared at 1851.
